Topic Presenter: Darren Murphy, Murcox Post Mining Services
Date: 25th October 2023
Time: 12:30 to 13:30 (Australian Western Standard Time)
Presentation Overview:
We often hear generalised and bold statements about ‘starting with the end in mind’ and ‘integrated closure planning’ but there is limited guidance for how the maturity of closure planning should develop and evolve over time, particularly when faced with operational life spans for some mines in the order of over 50 years. In this presentation Darren will explore how the different elements of closure planning should be developed over time to optimise closure outcomes.
