CPPA Update - Membership Fees

FY20 was a watershed year for the CPPA. As promised at the 2020 AGM we have established a strong organisational and financial platform to support the ongoing provision of value-adding services to our members and the broader closure planning community.  In acknowledgement of this platform and to help further build the CPPA’s capacity to meet member needs, attendees at the 2021 AGM voted, unanimously, for the establishment of a $25 annual membership fee. The money raised, along with the financial support of our sponsors, will help fund website/event hosting, our New Mobile App, and the purchase of accounting and teams software licenses. These tools and applications will allow greater efficiency in the running of the CPPA and allow the committee to focus more on technical and professional content.

The $25 membership fee would give you:

  • Free access to all technical presentation events (approximately 12 per year) [non-member’s will be charged $10 per event]
  • Free access to the back catalogue of presentations and recordings [non-members will be charged access fee of $10 per product]

Further to the resolution on the membership fee, a motion was passed at the 2021 AGM for the Committee to review the current membership classifications and development a new membership grading system that aligns with the newly released competency framework. This will provide more strength to our organisation and ensure the integrity and longevity for the CPPA for years to come.
