During the recent Mine Closure 2022 Conference (MC22) in Brisbane, the CPPA co-hosted a networking function with AusIMM and CRC TiME, at the Transcontinental Hotel. The event was attended by over 120 closure practitioners. Like the MC22 Conference, these events are important for closure practitioners to spend time discussing their successes, challenges and lessons learned, as well as meeting new colleagues and friends. Travis Warren, a member of the CPPAs management committee and Chair of the East Coast Networking Sub-committee, said that "There was a real vibe in the room and that the diversity of interests and backgrounds made for many great conversations over the evening".

The CPPA is committed to providing its members with networking and learning opportunities (CPPA Knowledge Hub).  With a new committee now in place we are pushing ahead with our commitment to members to develop a learning management system, keeping up the excellent program of webinars and providing more networking opportunities.
